Meet the team
We look forward to welcoming you to Girton College on the 17th and 18th of September for the conference. Below is a brief bio and some pictures of our team who will be there to help on the day. Each have worked behind the scenes the past months to ensure you have an enjoyable and smooth conference experience.
Professor Toni Williams- Senior Tutor/Lead Conference Organiser
Professor Toni Williams has been the lead of the organisational effort for this conference.
In her teaching career she has taught law in both the UK (at UCL and Kent) and Canada (York University). Professor Williams is also the recipient of a Doctor of Laws (LLD) from University College London.
Professor Williams is the current Senior Tutor of Girton College.
Christina Sansford- Customer Service Manager
Christina has helped organise the logistics of the IACL Conference and been working with the team at Girton College to deliver this event.
Christina has a passion for all things Events and Customer Service. She has over 16 years’ experience in the Events and Hospitality Industry and has successfully planned and delivered a variety of large and bespoke events throughout that time.
Muhammed Hasan Lone- Conference Administrator
Hasan has supported the organisation of the conference, including the creation of this website and other logistical and practical matters.
He is a recent graduate (June, 2024), having read Law (BA) at Girton College, University of Cambridge. He studied a range of topics from English Legal History and Civil Law, to modern day Criminal Procedure & Evidence and Human Rights.
A note of recognition
Many other members of staff across Girton College have been instrumental in supporting the activities of this conference, from the Catering to House services team, Porters and beyond. We would like to thank them for their work which would otherwise go unrecognised.
